Parents may choose from a variety of care options provided by highly motivated, well trained providers. We have a facility in government quarters that is staffed with CYSS employees to provide care for those patrons who work non-traditional work schedules that can't be met in the traditional child care setting. “On the Road to becoming an FCC Provider Orientation Training” is an orientation for those who may be interested in opening a family child care program in their home or being a substitute family child care provider who goes into the homes of other providers to provide care when they are unable to do so. This is an excellent home business that supports the military mission and allows you to make a contribution to your families’ income! You will learn about the whole process of becoming an in-home family childcare provider or substitute care provider. This opportunity is available to those who live on post or off post. We are actively recruiting infant/toddler homes where you can have three children under 3 and no children of your own ages 3-7. We also have a need for multi-age homes (6 children) where you can have two children under two and four children over two counting your own children in the ratio. You may not bring children to this briefing. Any person who is interested in establishing their own business in their home and has Fort Campbell ID card may attend. Family Child Care providers may seek accreditation through the National Association of Family Child Care. We currently have six homes that are accredited in our program. We have several others in the process of accreditation.The following providers were recently awarded the National Association of Family Child Care Accreditation certificate at a Garrison Town Hall meeting. This is the highest certification any family child care provider can achieve.
